CoolSculpting® and CoolTone®

Non-invasive fat reduction and muscle toning services to help you reach your body contouring goals.

CoolSculpting®

CoolSculpting is an FDA-Approved, non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses patented technology to target and freeze stubborn fat cells (cryolipolysis).

The purpose of CoolSculpting is to assist in your body contouring goals.
By freezing stubborn fat cells in targeted areas, CoolSculpting® helps to enhance your natural body shape—not to achieve a scale number but a desired silhouette.

The Science

1

Many of us have stubborn fat despite diet and exercise. CoolSculpting technology uses controlled cooling to target and kill only those fat cells.

2

In the weeks following your treatment, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates dead cells. CoolSculpting results are long-term because the treated fat cells are dead and gone.

3

After each treatment, the body naturally eliminates the dead fat cells for up to 20-25% reduction of stubborn fat in the treatment areas.

4

The FDA has cleared CoolSculpting to treat stubborn fat under the jawline, under the chin, the upper arms, back fat, bra fat, the flank area (love handles), abdomen, thighs, and under the buttocks (banana roll).

The Consult

Scheduling a consult is the first step toward reaching your body contouring goals.

During the consult, our CoolSculpting specialist will discuss your personal goals and determine wether you’re a candidate. You must be 18 years or older and have no disqualifying medical conditions to be eligible for CoolSculpting.

Personalized treatment plans include how many CoolSculpting treatment sessions you’ll need to see your desired result. A treatment session consists of one office visit and may contain multiple treatments. For many patients, two or more treatment sessions are recommended for best contouring results.

Our office charges $50 for the consultation fee, but if you schedule your first treatment at the end of the appointment your consult fee acts as a deposit, and we will deduct that from your treatmeent cost.

The Treatment

During your treatment sessions, our specialist will take clinical photographs to track your before, during, and after progress. Once the initial photos have been taken, we will outline the treatment areas, apply a gel pad to create a barrier between the applicator and your skin, and then place the applicators on your body.

As treatment begins, you’ll feel a light vacuum pressure and an intense cold. After approximately 10 minutes or so, the area being treated will become temporarily numb. Everyone has their own sensitivity to discomfort, but most patients do not find the treatment painful. In fact, many people say they like to read, catch up on email, watch TV shows, or even take a nap.

At the end of each treatment, the applicators and gel pads are removed and the treatment areas are massaged for 2 minutes to help break up the fat cells.

On average, treatments take between 35 and 75 minutes, depending on the area treated, and each session lasts between 1 and 3 hours.

The Room

Our office uses the CoolSculpting Elite® machine, which offers improved comfort from the original CoolSculpting machine and is designed for two applicators instead of one to treat two areas at once.

For your highest comfort, our CoolSculpting room offers select music and video streaming services so you can relax and let the CoolSculpting Elite® work.

CoolTone®

The Science

CoolTone® is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment that uses magnetic muscle stimulation to tone, firm, and strengthen muscle.

CoolTone® uses Active Magnetic Pulse™️ (AMP™️) technology designed to induce powerful muscle contractions that the body could not otherwise do on its own. This treatment causes involuntary contractions which strengthen the muscle fibers in the treated area, leading to a stronger, firmer, and more toned appearance. Treatment areas include the abdomen, glutes, and thighs.

The Consult

Scheduling a consult is the first step toward reaching your muscle toning goals.

During the consult, our CoolTone® specialist will discuss your personal goals and determine wether you’re a candidate. You must be 18 years or older.

Personalized treatment plans include how many CoolTone® treatment sessions you’ll need to see your desired result. A treatment session consists of one office visit and may contain multiple treatments. For many patients, four to eight treatment sessions are recommended over the course of two to four weeks for best contouring results.

Our office charges $50 for the consultation but will waive the fee if you schedule your first treatment at the end of the appointment.

The Treatment

Our CoolTone® specialist will take clinical photographs to help you track your before, during, and after progress. Next, our specialist will place the applicators on the body part you’re treating. During treatment, you will feel a series of involuntary (deep) muscle contractions over the targeted area that will last for a few seconds followed by a period of rest. CoolTone® intensity levels range from 1-100%, depending on patient’s tolerance. A treatment typically takes 30 minutes.

Muscle pain may occur several hours after treatment. Over the next couple weeks, you’ll notice that treated areas will be more toned, firmer, and you will feel stronger. Continue your usual diet and exercise routines during and after treatment, as muscles may atrophy or lose some of their strength and tone over time if they are not maintained through your usual routines.
